Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood is back in the news. The 'Acharya' and 'Dookudu' actor has reportedly reached out to a husband-wife duo from the Khammam district. The couple were looking for help for their infant's health condition.
Going into details, the couple named Kanchepogu Krishna and Bindu Priya needed financial assistance for the treatment of their kid's heart problem. They needed more than Rs 6 lakh.
This is when someone from the famous Jana Vignana Vedika reached out to Sonu Sood via social media. In no time, the actor's team responded to their SOS and got the child treated at his own expense at Wadia Hospital, Mumbai.
The parents of the child are relieved that the operation went well and their baby is now doing fine.
