'Ahimsa', which is directed by director Teja, marks the debut of Abhiram Daggubati. Produced by P Kiran and D Suresh Babu, the film is in the news for an interesting reason.
Teja has enlisted the tall and good-looking Rajat Bedi of ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’ (Hindi) fame for a key negative role. After doing about 50 Bollywood films, including those starring the likes of Akshay Kumar Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Govinda, John Abraham, Bobby Deol and Suniel Shetty, Rajat Bedi is now going to play the antagonist's role in Telugu.
Also starring the likes of Geethika Tiwary, 'Ahimsa' is currently in the production phase. Talking about being enlisted for the role, Rajat Bedi says, “Bagging the main villain’s role opposite Rana Daggubati’s younger brother Abhiram in a film directed by Teja sir is a dream come true. Teja sir believes in working with and is known to launch new talent who are superstars now."
Incidentally, both Rajat and Geethika are managed by the talent management company Kuausmedia. Its chief Sridevi Shetty says, “Rajat Bedi is fast approaching a golden jubilee milestone and we are proud and privileged to be associated with him. Rajat has always been disciplined and professional in his approach due to which he has paired off leading superstars who are still in vogue today. Being the quintessential Punjabi in the film industry, Rajat still looks young and is as fit as a fiddle."
Exuding confidence, Rajat adds, "I shall create history in Telugu films with a villain’s role that will stand out as one of the most powerful ever."
