'Ahimsa' has been waiting to be released in theaters. It marks the debut of Rana Daggubati's brother, Abhiram Daggubati.
The film will be released on June 2. It is unlikely to get postponed further. It should have been released in January or February.
In a recent interview, director Teja said that he once told Abhiram to forget his family background and get into the skin of the character as a commoner. "His grandfather was great. His father is great. His 'Babai' is great. But what is Abhiram? He is nothing. I told him to remember the truth and approach his career as an actor," Teja said.
