In the interview, the 'Beast' actor revealed that he is not too busy to give interviews usually. But he doesn't prefer meeting the media because, 10 years ago, he was badly misquoted by a media house. He had to explain to his friends and family that he never made those comments. Since then, Vijay has avoided the media.
In fact, Nayanthara's aversion is for a similar reason. She was misquoted quite a few times in the past and therefore, she refrains from giving interviews. In 2020, she told Vogue that she has been "misquoted and misinterpreted" quite a few times. "It was too much for me to handle," the 'Sye Raa' actress added.
