Someone doesn't like 'Beast' and he is Kollywood star hero Vijay's father himself. SA Chandrasekhar, who has made scores of Tamil films in the past, commented that he couldn't enjoy the Nelson directorial after the first song (read 'Arabic Kuthu').
"The film lacks good writing. It also falls short on execution. Its not-good screenplay won't satisfy the audience although it is running well in theatres (in Tamil)," SAC told a Tamil-language publication.
It has been less than a week since 'Beast' hit the cinemas and it's surprising that Vijay's father has consigned the action-comedy to the dustbin.
Many years ago, when Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan' was released, Amitabh Bachchan criticized the movie. "Sad editing has ruined Abhishek's role," Big B tweeted just three days after the movie's release. The film starred not only his son but also his daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Bachchan.
