The teaser for an upcoming Telugu-language release titled ‘Muthayya’ was today released via social media by 'Ante Sundaraniki' actor Nani. Since the film is about an old man wishing to act in a movie before he dies, the 'Shyam Singha Roy' actor said that he would have been that old man in his 70s had 'Ashta Chamma' not happened to him when he was 24.
Written and directed by Bhaskhar Maurya, the film's release date is yet to be locked. Presenters Vamsi Karumanchi and Kedar Selagamsetty thanked the Natural Star for releasing the teaser. "It’s a heartwarming film which will leave a great impression on the viewers," they said.
Producer Vrinda Prasad of Fictionary Entertainment stated that her film has got selected for UK Asian Film Festival. "I hope the film’s story resonates with everyone who has a dream and Bhaskhar Maurya has done a wonderful job," she added.
'Muthayya' is touted as a heartfelt tribute to countless people who have a bellyful of dreams to achieve something big in their lives.
Fronted by K Sudhakar Reddy, the drama also features Arun Raj, Mounika Bomma, Purna Chandra, T Sai Leela, Jayavardhan Sagar, and Kiran Kumar.
Its director of photography is Divakar Mani, while Karthik Rodriguez is its music director.
