'Karthikeya 2' has been described by Nikhil Siddhartha as a combination of the spirit of an 'Arundhathi' and the devotional timbre of an 'Annamayya'. Expectations from this mystical adventure drama, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, are high.
The news is that the film's MOTTO poster was released on Monday at the hands of Anupam Kher, who has got a supporting role in the movie. The Bollywood actor has given the film its theme-like statement: Krishna is the Truth.
ISKCON has already supported the movie in its own way. Nikhil and the producers (TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal) are highlighting the spiritual theme of the film, of late.
The film also features Aditya Menon, KS Sridhar, Srinivas Reddy, Satya, Praveen and Harsha Chemudu. Starring Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead, the film will head to theatres on August 12.
