'Sita Ramam' is growing from strength to strength at the box office, with the second-day figures being more than the first-day's in both domestic and Overseas markets. Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur's film is towering in terms of commercial performance, thanks to positive word of mouth.
The makers today stated that the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial is doing well in both multiplexes and A centers. It is picking pace in B and C centers as well. In Kerala and Tamil Nadu, extra shows are getting added for the Malayalam and Tamil versions, respectively.
Sunday's collections are pegged to be higher than Day 2's figures.
Overseas performance:
In the US, the film crossed the $430K mark by the end of the second day. By the end of the third day, it will easily cross the half-a-million mark. The Premieres gave $91K, Friday gave $129K and Saturday gave $210K.
The film's performance in the US is the best in all markets. Its Day 1 gross, for example, was the highest for any Indian movie in the last 50 days.
