'Sita Ramam' stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur as the lead pair. The teaser of the August 5th release came out on Saturday.
At an event held in Hyderabad, the core team of the movie interacted with the media. When asked about living up to the standards set by his 'Mahanati' stint, Dulquer said, "I have tremendous faith in Vyjayanthi Movies. When director Hanu Raghavapudi narrated the story, I found it epic. Hanu is an energetic director. He is always focused on work. He doesn't mind what is going on around him. I have done 35 movies and Hanu remains unique among my directors."
Dulquer said that 'Sita Ramam' has got a universal point. "Everyone is going to connect with it. It's a great love story. The process is novel. This is a musical love story," the actor added.
Swapna Dutt said that Dulquer had played a character with negative shades in 'Mahanati'. "Before sending a script to him, we as producers think twice. He is a very choosy actor. After he accepted 'Sita Ramam', our responsibility only went up. We felt responsible that we should deliver a big hit for him," the producer added.
Director Hanu said, "The teaser is receiving an amazing response. The audience are going to get a wonderful experience when they watch the movie. I thank my hero Dulquer and producer Swapna on this occasion. The film was shot at a place where the temperature was -24 degrees.
