In a recent interview, the 'Andala Rakshasi' director indicated that he is unhappy that 'LIE' flopped. The Nithiin-starrer had a very good storyline. And Hanu wants to reimagine the same storyline for today's audiences, whose tastes have been transformed by the advent of OTT culture.
If he gets a chance, he would like to remake it as an adaptation. He hinted that it would be best suited to be made as a web series. Hanu has been watching OTT shows and feels that digital media presents enormous opportunities to tell new-age stories.
