'Sita Ramam', starring Dulquer Salman and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. The film was released in theatres on August 5.
The news is that the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial is all set to be streamed on Amazon Prime in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam from September 9.
What is the film about?
The story is set in two timelines. In 1984, Afreen (Rashmika Mandanna) comes in search of one Sita Mahalakshmi. She has to hand over an unopened letter to her. Back in 1964, Lieutenant Ram (Dulquer Salmaan) was wooed by Sita Mahalakshmi (Mrunal Thakur) after a shattering event. They both fell in love with each other and decided to get married. But destiny had other plans for them. In the early 1980s, can their story get closure?
