The core team of the latest Tollywood blockbuster 'Major' today met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The Shiv Sena supremo lauded the efforts of the team and praised the way the biographical action drama portrays Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's heroism during the Mumbai terror attacks of 2008.
Adivi Sesh, director Sashi Kiran Tikka, actress Saiee Manjrekar and her father Mahesh Manjrekar called on the CM. They posed together with Thackeray and his son, Aditya Thackeray.
Taking to Twitter, Sesh said that he had the incredible opportunity to meet the CM. "He promised to extend full support for our MAJOR promise fund for NDA aspirants. It was an incredible moment. Thank you for the amazing words about our film sir. We will be showing the film to the entire family in the next few days. Was an absolute delight to meet Shri Aditya Thackeray ji," wrote the 'Kshanam' actor.
'Major' has earlier received appreciation from top Telugu stars like Allu Arjun. Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan said that he is planning to watch the movie soon.
