'Chor Bazaar', which stars Puri Jagannadh's son Akash Puri as the hero, features Gehna Sippy as the heroine. The Jeevan Reddy directorial will hit the cinemas on June 24.
Producer VS Raju of IV Productions today hosted an event in Hyderabad and stated that 'CB' is a colourful movie. He and Jeevan have been friends for the past 15 years. They both worked in different direction departments. "When he used to come up with serious subjects, I would tell him to first do entertainers. 'CB' has got all elements that the audience expect from an entertainer," the producer added.
Director Jeevan Reddy said, "My friend VS Raju becoming a producer is good news. As he has always wished, I have made a commercial film. The technical team has given its 100%. When I mooted who should be cast for the lead role, I could think only of Akash Puri. The name of his character in the movie is Bachchan Saab."
Akash Puri said, "I have been waiting to watch 'CB' with the audience in theatres. Right from the songs to the recent trailer, our movie has been generating positive vibes. UV Creations joining hands with us has only increased our film's stamina. I thank Vamsi garu and Pramod garu on this occasion."
The film has music by Suresh Bobbili. Jagadeesh Cheekati has cranked the camera, while the fights are by Prudhvi Sekhar. Costumes are by Pasanna Dantuluri. Art Direction is by Gandhi Nadikudikar.
