'Stand Up Rahul', a feel-good romantic comedy, is all set to hit the cinemas on March 18. Today, its trailer was released. Producers Nandkumar Abbineni and Bharath Maguluri are confident about the Raj Tarun-Varsha Bollamma rom-com doing well.
Raj Tarun is a stand-up comedian who is just a rookie for now. His live-in partner is played by Varsha of 'Jaanu' fame.
While the teaser had introduced the lead actors, the trailer also brings the parents of the male lead into focus. Yesteryear actress Indraja plays Rahul's mother. She doesn't like that he wants to while away time as a stand-up comedian. His father, played by Murali Sharma, can relate to his son's passions and love life as well.
With music by Sweekar Agasthi, the film is directed by Santo Mohan Veeranki. Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Indraja, Devi Prasad and Madhurima are part of the cast. Choreography is by Eshwar Penti. Art direction is by Uday.
