Upasana Konidela, the Vice-Chairperson of Apollo Life, has been undertaking a range of charity activities in different ways. Known among the masses as the wife of actor Ram Charan, she has reached out to different segments of society through the Apollo Foundation. The Foundation's charity works have reached even remoted parts of rural India. She has been doing great work in the fields of environment and wildlife as well.
The latest endeavour undertaken by Upasana is that she has adopted 150 old-age homes under the banner of Billion Hearts Beating Foundation, which is a part of Apollo Life.
As part of the new endeavour, Upasana will be financing food, medicines and other needs of old-age homes in the Telugu States, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi, among others. She has interacted with a few old people and shared her joy by taking to social media.
