'Brahmastra', the multi-lingual pan-India project being made by Bollywood talent, stars Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva. Co-starring Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni, the film will hit the cinemas on September 9 this year.
The news is that the Ayan Mukerji directorial will be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The fantasy thriller is in the august company of 'Thor: Love And Thunder' and 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' and 'Avatar: The Way Of Water'.
"The fact that 'Brahmastra' is being horned by Disney in terms of its worldwide release slate (first ever Indian movie) to do so, speaks volumes. The confidence is palpable," a Twitter user, who is a fan of Ranbir Kapoor, tweeted.
Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures are jointly producing the three-part trilogy, the first of which will head to the theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
