'Major', which is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, is an action drama. The film is based on the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks and Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan's heroism.
On Wednesday, the video version of the Sid Sriram-crooned 'Hrudayama' was released. Visuals of the longing and love between Saiee Manjrekar's character and the titular character define the song. The Sricharan Pakala composition is melodious.
The film will hit the cinemas on June 3. As per Sesh, its early paid previews are houseful in Pune, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur. "Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan is an all-Indian hero," the 'Kshanam' actor tweeted. Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Lucknow and Kochi will also host paid previews before June 3.
Bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India, GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, the film has story and screenplay by Sesh himself, while dialogues are by Abburi Ravi.
