'Baby' is directed by Sai Rajesh and stars Anand Deverakonda, Viraj Ashwin and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in lead roles. The film's teaser release event witnessed the makers expressing absolute satisfaction over the output.
Director Sai Rajesh revealed that the film's story is based on a true incident. "It happened in Tamil Nadu," the 'Colour Photo' writer added. Although there is a hint of emotional drama and even tragedy, the film is going to be entertaining as well. The director has drawn entertainment quotient from Maruthi, the filmmaker who is one of the producers of 'Baby'.
The director profusely thanked producers Maruthi and SKN for not compromising on quality despite the overshooting budget.
Producer SKN of Mass Movie Makers said that 'Baby' is a beautiful love story whose backbone is Anand, the leading man. He also praised Viraj Ashwin and revealed that Vaishnavi is going to do a couple more films under his banner.
The brother of Vijay Deverakonda said that he toiled for 1.5 years for the movie. He also exuded confidence in Maruthi's sense of judgment on the occasion. It was the 'Pakka Commercial' director who first approved the script.
Maruthi lauded the lead actors and said that criticisms motivate him to push himself to do better every time.
The event was also attended by guests such as Anil Ravipudi, Harish Shankar and 'Bimbisara' maker Vasishta. Harish Shankar said that the Telugu audience have a wide range of tastes. "They enjoy both a 'Baahubali' and a 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy'," he added.
