It's known that pubs in Hyderabad can't play music after 10 pm. Even the High Court of Telangana wants the rule to be implemented strictly.
Ram Gopal Varma is against the rule. He feels that a modern cosmopolitan city like Hyderabad shouldn't have such restrictions in place. On Thursday, Varma likened the curbs on pubs to the Talibanization of culture.
"Hyderabad must be the first international global city which has NO MUSIC AFTER 10 PM ..Can’t forget the look on some foreigners' faces when the music stopped (the other day)..They were looking at us like we are Taliban," RGV tweeted.
On the work front, RGV's 15-year-old film 'Adavi' is up for a re-release this Firday (October 14). It stars Nithiin in the lead.
