After 'Acharya' became a mega flop this Summer, several media reports stated that Chiranjeevi returned 50% of his remuneration to compensate for the mammoth losses suffered by different parties. None of the reports, however, had any official backing.
On Thursday, in a chit-chat with the media, the Megastar himself revealed a specific figure. He said that he and his son, Ram Charan, returned 80% of their fee. He added that he has no guilt pangs as far as the film is concerned.
The film was produced by Matinee Entertainment. It's believed that Konidela Production Company didn't invest money in the movie. The film was produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy.
Chiru, by returning 80% of his remuneration, must have mitigated the suffering of his producers. It is said that Koratala Siva, after spending four years of his precious time, didn't make anything. In fact, he made losses.
