Actors Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur are waiting for the theatrical release of 'Sita Ramam' on August 5. Director Hanu Raghavapudi, meanwhile, has hit the right notes by delivering a hit album.
The music of 'Sita Ramam' has been done without using electronic/synthetic instruments. Live instruments have been used to render a touch of classiness, composer Vishal Chandrasekhar, who has been associated with Hanu since 2016, recently said.
For example, 'Oh Sita Hey Rama' was composed with the intention that its shelf life has to be at least 10-12 years. The song turns the clock back, taking inspiration from the legendary Ilaiyaraaja's repertoire.
'Inthandham', which was the first song to be composed, is another soothing song with zero synthetic notes. The chorus by the kids and the veena rendition have been loved by the audience.
"The songs are as organic as they can be. I haven't used a single plastic note. The album will stand the test of time," says composer Vishal said in an interview.
The underrated singer SPB Charan has rendered two songs. What made the composer choose him is that he feels Charan has got the same vocal texture, intonation, voice timbre, and style of delivery that his legendary father got.
The lyrics, too, are winning the audience's hearts. Lyricist Ananth Sriram has penned 'Oh Sita..', while Krishnakanth wrote 'Inthandham'. 'Kaanunna Kalyanam', on the other hand, is written by Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry.
