Ahead of the theatrical release of 'Extra' on December 8, an event was held as part of a marathon promotional campaign. Speaking on the occasion, Nithiin described the entertainer as a special one for him, saying that the audience are going to fall in love with Rithvik and Kyathi, two child artists who have acted in the entertainer.
"Every character has a lot of importance in it. My father distributed Rajasekhar's film 'Magadu' many years ago. That super-hit was his first movie. Had the film flopped, maybe, he wouldn't have stayed in the industry. And I am a hero today because my father has been a successful distributor. I thank Rajasekhar garu for doing 'Extra'. Without him, this film would not be there. Harris Jayaraj gave wonderful songs. And his BGM is quite new in terms of its soundscape. This is my third film with cinematographer Yuvaraj. He knows how to show me on the big screen. No matter how busy Sree Leela has been, she gave us the dates whenever we needed. In the movie, I am an extraordinary man but in real life Sree Leela is an extraordinary woman. She is multi-talented," Nithiin said.
The hero added that Sudhev Nair has played a complex negative role. "He didn't take any promptings during the shoot. His role is very well-written. Sonia, Hyper Aadhi, Chammak Chandra and others have got hilarious roles. There is a song in the second half involving Chandra. It is going to be a blast," Nithiin added.
The 'Skanda' and 'Dhamaka' heroine said that everyone has been enjoying the songs, teaser and trailer for 'Extra'. "Thanks to the director and producers for giving me such a good role. Nithiin is such a sweet person. Every role in this film has got importance," the heroine said.
Producer Nikitha Reddy said that, this December 8, Sreshth Movies is going to deliver a super hit at the box office. Producer Sudhakar Reddy thanked the entire team, the Sree Leela-Rajasekhar duo, Aditya Music Entertainments and presenter Raj Kumar Akella.
Meanwhile, Nithiin has shot for a chilled-out interview with 'DJ Tillu' actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda.
