Last Friday, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar's 'Vedha' started streaming on ZEE5 in Telugu and other languages. In less than a week, the action drama has proved to be a hit on the streaming platform.
As per a source, the period film caters to the emotions of the family audience and the tastes of youngsters. "On top of it, the storyline, Shiva Rajkumar's intense performance, the father-daughter segment, and the child abuse angle shown in a sensitive way are working in favour of 'Vedha'," the source adds.
Both the action scenes and the characterizations, not to forget the backstory involving the father (played by Shiva Rajkumar) and the daughter (played by Aditi Sagar) have made 'Vedha' pretty much a sought-after movie on OTT.
Starring also Bharath Sagar, Ganavi Laxman, Shwetha Chengappa, Umashree, and others, the film is written and directed by A Harsha. Arjun Janya's background score and Swamy J Gowda's cinematography have also been praised by the audience, the makers recently said.
The film was released as 'Shiva Vedha' in theatres.
