'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi', directed by Srinivas Avasarala, has been in the making since 2018. Shot in the UK and India prominently, the film stars Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair in the lead.
People Media Factory and Dasari Productions today released its first look. The poster was preceded by a video clip in which the lead pair joked that 'PAPA' took longer than even 'RRR' to hit the cinemas. Even the 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari' actor and his heroine have long forgotten having shot for the movie.
Producer TG Vishwa Prasad, who recently scored a hit with Ravi Teja's 'Dhamaka', is positive about 'PAPA' becoming a box-office success story.
Avasarala, besides directing the movie, has also penned its story, screenplay, and dialogues. He has also played a key role. "The story starts with the lead pair in their teens. It ends with them stepping into their 28th year," the makers suggested.
Vivek Sagar set a song to tune for the movie, while the rest of the songs and BGM have been done by Kalyani Malik. Megha Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar, Abhishek Maharshi, Sri Vidya, and Varanasi Soumya Chalamcharla are part of the cast.
