On the work front, Sharwa is doing a political drama directed by Krishna Chaitanya. "The film is not a satire. It's about a selfish youngster, a kind of role I have never played in the past," Sharwa said in an interview last year. Produced by People Media Factory, Raashi Khanna is its heroine. Priyamani has a prominent part in it.
