'Kushi', starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Its first schedule was done last summer in Kashmir. After the heroine got sick due to Myositis, its subsequent schedules couldn't be commenced.
Today, a section of Tollywood media floated the rumour that director Shiva Nirvana is planning to set aside 'Kushi' in favour of another project if Samantha doesn't turn up for the shoot soon. The 'Majili' director brushed aside the rumour, indicating that the film is on track.
"The regular shoot of 'Khushi' will start very soon. Everything is going to be beautiful (sic)," the director tweeted today.
Malayalam actor Jayaram and Sachin Khedakar have key roles. Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, and Rohini are also part of the cast. Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar and Ali have been roped in. With music by Mollywood's Hesham Abdul Wahab, the film will hit the cinemas later this year.
