‘Kushi’ is up for a theatrical release on September 1. On Friday, Mythri Movie Makers unveiled a poster dedicate to Samantha Ruth Prabhu's character from the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer. We see her in an everyday get-up. Her elegant smile and no-frills look embody the joyous and simple nature of her character.
Director Shiva Nirvana has cast her in the role of a girl-next-door woman.
The film, also featuring Jayaram (seen in today's BO release 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'), Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma (seen in today's release 'Agent' as Akhil's father), Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya, is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar.
Sam was recently seen in 'Shaakuntalam'. She recently promoted the foreign edition of 'Citadel', currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The Indian version, featuring Sam in a leading role, will be released later this year.
