Earlier this week, media reports claimed that Naga Chaitanya literally walked out of a theatre playing the trailer for 'Kushi' recently. The Akkineni actor happened to watch 'Boys Hostel' in a theatre (he was there to promote the movie since it is presented by Annapurna Studios). While the trailer for 'Kushi', featuring his former spouse Samantha in the leading role, commenced on the big screen, the 'Custody' actor was alleged to have walked out for a brief while.
Speaking to a national media house, the 'Bangarraju' actor rubbished the report. He also said that he had asked the website that floated the fake news to remove it.
There is this view that Chay has been dragged into all this in an attempt to generate cheap publicity for 'Kushi', which hits the cinemas on September 1. To be fair, 'Kushi' has got enough buzz already. People are eager to watch the Vijay Deverakonda-Samantha duo on the silver screen. The film is sure to generate excellent openings. One wonders who is behind the Chay rumour.
