"Get ready to be immersed in a world of raw emotions (sic)," wrote Vishwak Sen, sharing the film's first glimpse of his upcoming release, 'Gangs Of Godavari'. Written and helmed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
The 'Falaknuma Das' actor will sport a raw and rustic look. Neha Sshetty of 'DJ Tillu' fame, Anjali, Goparaju Ramana, Sai Kumar and Nasser will be seen in prominent roles in this rural action drama with a political backdrop. We see the hero saying that the Godavari people don't broach improper behaviour. 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', the Bollywood film, seems to have inspired the title of this promising movie.
The film, whose shoot is yet to be completed, will hit the cinemas in December this year.
The period film, set in Rajamundry, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Anith Madhadi, Gandhi Nadikudikar, and Navin Nooli are its cinematographer, art director, and editor, respectively.
