In the pre-release event clips of 'Gangs Of Godavari', something unusual was spotted by Netizens. A video clip of an alleged alcohol-filled water bottle near chief guest Nandamuri Balakrishna's chair went viral on social media. Trolls claimed that Balayya attended the event in a drunken state.
On Thursday, producer S Naga Vamsi and actor Vishwak Sen shrugged off the allegation. The producer said that the bottle spotted near Balakrishna's seat was recreated using graphics by individuals with a vested interest. He further iterated that those who were present at the event know that nothing of that sort was there.
Naga Vamsi also defended Balayya over the 'Anjali was pushed' allegation. "It was a friendly and casual pushing. If you have good rapport with a person, you will do it. What is the big deal?" he asked.
'GoG', starring also Neha Shetty, Anjali, Nassar, Sai Kumar and others, will head to theatres on May 31.
