'Motha' from 'Gangs of Godavari' is the hottest song in the town since 'Kuchi Madathapetti' from 'Guntur Kaaram'. Shot on actor Vishwak Sen and Ayesha Khan of 'Om Bheem Bush' fame, the item number has been rendered with energy by MM Manasi. Chandra Bose, the most-happening star lyricist of the age, is its song writer.
At first, composer Yuvan Shankar Raja's tune comes across as a rehash of a folk song. The imitation, it is safe to assume, is genuine. The sizzling duo make the dance-heavy song worth it. After a serious, experimental movie like 'Gaami', Sen is going out of his way to cater to the masses.
