'Narasimha Naidu', the 2001 blockbuster starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, is up for a release on June 10 (on the occasion of the actor's birthday). A grand 4K version has been readied to treat the fans of the 'Akhanda' actor.
Speaking at a presser today, Prasanna Kumar said that the upgraded version of the historic blockbuster will be released in as many as 750 to 1000 theaters worldwide.
The blockbuster combination of the 'Veera Simha Reddy' actor and director B Gopal was valued highly in the 1990s and early 2000s. 'Narasimha Naidu' locked horns with a movie starring Chiranjeevi and another biggie starring Venkatesh. It trumped both films and became the biggest blockbuster of the year.
"Balayya acted brilliantly in the movie. I can't forget the way this film delighted the audience in terms of emotions and action. Balayya's dialogue delivery was so powerful. Some of the punchlines written by the Paruchuri Brothers have been etched in the memory of the audience to this day," B Gopal said, also adding that Mani Sharma's music is timeless.
