Priyadarshi Pulikonda, who was recently seen in the web series 'Save The Tigers' (streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar), is in the news for winning the Best Actor award for his performance in 'Balagam' at the Swedish International Film Festival-2023. 'Balagam', helmed by Venu Yeldandi and produced by Dil Raju Productions, was released in theatres in March. It has been streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
"We are glad to announce the latest award for Priyadarshi. K Sudhakar Reddy has won the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in the role of an old man in our film," the makers said, adding that 'Balagam' has already amassed awards in categories such as best film, best drama movie, best director, best music director and best cinematographer in several foreign countries.
Producers Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha Reddy made a fortune from the film's success. Recently, Dil Raju said that 'Balagam' is the first film that mattered the most to him since the onset of the pandemic.
