The trailer for 'Takkar' makes it look like nothing is smooth for the greedy hero. Siddharth comes from a lower middle-class background. When he says he will become a rich man, his mother is worried. She senses that her son might well be planning to resort to immortal shortcuts. And that is indeed his plan.
He strikes gold when he bumps into a rich woman (Divyansha Kaushik) whose father sees a business opportunity in her wedding alliance. She rebels and instead chooses our poor male lead. She starts enjoying the hero's company and believes he is the pure-hearted soul she badly needs in life.
As the story progresses, the heroine is in for a rude shock. But that's not before she makes out with our calculated hero.
Co-starring Abhimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu (as a madcap, trigger-happy, flamboyant uncle), Munishkanth and RJ Vigneshkanth, the film is helmed by Karthik G Krish, who casts the 'Bommarillu' actor in a grey part.
People Media Factory's TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Aggarwal of Abhishek Arts have collaborated on this movie, which will hit the cinemas on June 9.
