It is known that producers Bunny Vass and Vidya Koppineedi are currently remaking the 2021 movie 'Nayattu' (Malayalam) as 'Kota Bommali PS'. The first song from the remake was released today.
Titled 'Lingi Lingi Lingidi', the song's music shows promise (as its vibes are heavily inspired by folk music), but the picturization is the culprit. The dance choreography lacks the zing. The actors appear dull and the cinematography is lazy. Was this song made for a feature film or a short film on YouTube?
Sung by Raghu 'Relare', the composition is by Midhun Mukundan, who too needs to take some blame for not adding the right quantum of energy.
Headlined by senior actor Srikanth, 'Krack' and 'Naandhi' fame Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajasekhar (Rajasekhar's daughter), the film is helmed by Teja Marni of 'Johaar' and 'Arjuna Phalguna' fame. The political survival thriller film will have cinematography by Jagadish Cheekati. Ranjin Raj is its other music director.
