'Chandramukhi 2' was postponed from September 15 to September 28 recently. The film will be in competition with Ram Pothineni's 'Skanda', 'Pedha Kapu 1' and 'The Vaccine War' at the Telugu box office on the last weekend of this month.
Right from the time the trailer was released recently, the buzz around 'Chandramukhi 2' has been pretty weak. After the unexpected theatrical postponement, it weakened even more.
And now, those buyers who had come forward to release the movie in the Telugu States have reportedly had a rethink. They have conveyed to Lyca Productions that they won't be going forward with the release (probably fearing poor openings).
As a result, the release rights have reportedly been renegotiated. NV Prasad, the prominent distributor from Ceded, is now going to release the horror thriller via Sri Lakshmi Movies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
'Chandramukhi 2', directed by P Vasu, stars the Raghava Lawrence-Kangana Ranaut duo. With music by MM Keravani, the film will involve a lot of VFX. Radhika Sarathkumar, Vadivelu and others will be seen in different roles.
