A rumour has gone out that Trisha Krishnan has been paid a whopping Rs 12 Cr as remuneration for 'Vishwambhara', Chiranjeevi's next. UV Creations is producing the movie.
It's learned that there is no truth in the rumour. While Trisha is back in the reckoning after films like 'Leo', Rs 12 Cr is an astronomical figure by any stretch of imagination.
The film's budget is super-high for sure. And Trisha's dates were much in demand from director Vassishta. It would make sense to guess that Trisha must have taken advantage of the fact that Chiru's options are limited: Given his age, only a few star actresses are suited to play female leads opposite him. He has already exhausated almost all options with the exception of Trisha. Even after accounting for this factor, Rs 12 Cr is still a stretch!
