'Kalki 2898 AD' is rumouredly going to hit the cinemas on May 30. It has been postponed from May 9 due to the election season. Meanwhile, an interesting report has emerged in the media. Director Nag Ashwin has readied an animated prelude film that will introduce the world of 'Kalki 2898 AD' to the audience. The prelude, whose running time might not be more than 45 minutes, will also talk about the different characters in the film. This prelude will be out on a streaming giant weeks before the theatrical release of the actual film.
"It’s a one-of-its-kind extended video in the animated format, wherein Prabhas himself has dubbed for his character,” a media house has quoted a source as saying.
Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film also features Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and others.
