Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan has filed an affidavit with the Election Commission of India. In his nomination papers as the Jana Sena Party candidate from Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh, he revealed that he has liabilities to the tune of Rs 47 Cr. In 2019, his declared liabilities were Rs 33 Cr.
Pawan owes his sister-in-law, Surekha, as much as Rs 2 Cr. He owes several film producers as well. He has taken loans from Haarika & Hassine Creations, Naveen Yerneni, Mythri Movie Makerks, A Dayakar of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' fame, and DVV Danayya (who is producing his 'OG'). All these loans are personal loan types. This could mean that he will be doing films for some of the above production houses in the future.
He is also the owner of nine cars, including two Benz cars, a Rangerover, two Toyotas and three Mahindra Scorpios. His cars, one Harley Davidson bike and a pickup van are worth more than Rs 14 Cr.
