The other day, famous astrologer Venu Swamy predicted that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala would be getting separated in 2027 as per their horoscopes. He blamed a woman for their allegedly imminent separation.
The Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA) and the Telugu Film Digital Media Association (TFDMA) have taken up the matter with the police on the grounds that Venu Swamy has resorted to "negative comments" on the engagement of the duo.
The issue will be taken up at the level of the DGP or a police commissioner. The State Commission for Women will also be approached.
Also, Netizens who have posted "defamatory" content and "derogatory" posts about the Chay-Sobhita duo will also be taken to the cleaners. The idea is to "foster a safer online environment for all".
Amidst reports that Venu Swamy has been approached by the makers of Bigg Boss Season 8, the TFJA and the TFDMA have wondered how such a person could be entertained by a show hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna.
