When 'Billa' was about to be released in theatres in the late 2000s, SS Rajamouli attended its Trailer launch event. On the occasion, the 'Magadheera' director made some interesting remarks.
"When I watched 'Dhoom 2' (Hindi), I was stunned by its visuals. I wondered why we haven't been able to make such a (stylish) film in Telugu. I wondered if we don't have our own Hrithik Roshan in our industry. Having seen the Teaser, a song, the posters and now the Trailer of 'Billa', I can say that Hrithik is nothing compared with Prabhas," Rajamouli said.
Furthermore, Rajamouli also stated that director Meher Ramesh had made a film whose style quotient matched that of Hollywood movies. Since then, Prabhas has become a bigger star and brand than Hrithik Roshan, while Ramesh has become a butt of ridicule.
