Ahead of the streaming of 'Kalki 2898 AD' on Amazon Prime Video (four major southern Indian languages) and Netflix (Hindi) from August 22, director Nag Ashwin has addressed a few interesting fan theories that have been doing the rounds. These theories concern the destiny of the different characters from the 'Kalki' universe.
A bunch of 'Kalki 2898 AD' fans have been guessing that Dulquer Salmaan would come back in the film's sequel to spill the beans on Prabhas's real deal, but the director was like, "Nah, not happening."
Will Prabhas's character be shown to have emerged from the future to try to save his mother (Deepika Padukone)? The 'Mahanati' director shot that down too.
People are also thinking that Vijay Deverakonda would team up with Prabhas to fight Kamal Haasan's evil character. The 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' maker hinted that's not gonna be the case.
And then there was this crazy idea that Bujji (the futuristic vehicle) would turn into a white horse for Sumathi's unborn kid. This, too, is a mere cool theory that won't become a reality.
