Director Nag Ashwin has been working on the pre-production of 'Project K' even though its production works began last year itself. The scale of the film is massive. Today, the 'Mahanati' maker requested Anand Mahindra of Mahindra & Mahindra to chip in with engineering leadership so that a team of technicians can make futuristic vehicles and gadgets meant for the film. Despite a talented set of designers and engineers on the job, 'Project K' is facing a talent crunch.
The film, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, is a sci-fi outing. The director said that unique vehicles that don't adhere to present-day technology are being built for the film. "If this film does what it is supposed to, it will be the pride of our nation. The scale of the project is such that we could use a hand..such a film has never been attempted before...it would be an honor if you can help us engineer the future," he tweeted.
In response, Anand Mahindra said that his company's Chief of Global Product Development Velu Mahindra will be working on the film. "Velu developed the XUV 700 and already has his feet in the future," he tweeted.
