It is known that the Supreme Court recently found Koratala Siva guilty of lifting the plot of 'Srimanthudu' from a novel named 'Chacchenta Prema', written by Satish Chandra.
In his latest interview, writer Satish Chandra has said that the Mahesh Babu-starrer is a scene-to-scene copy of his novel with the difference that the name of the village in which the story is set was changed from Devarakonda to Devarakota. He alleged that Koratala Siva had offered him a compensation of Rs 15 lakh as an out-of-court settlement but he didn't budge.
The writer today argued that the 'Acharya' and 'Janatha Garage' actor must accept his guilt or be ready to be put behind the bars.
Meanwhile, 'Devara' has been postponed indefinitely. The film, starring Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan, was scheduled to hit the cinemas on April 5.
