SS Rajamouli's son, SS Karthikeya, has reportedly acquired the Telugu release rights to the Malayalam romantic comedy film 'Premalu'. The Malayalam original was released in theatres on February 15. Made on a budget of Rs 3 Cr, the film is estimated to have grossed about Rs 60 Cr so far.
The Telugu release is happening on March 8 in theatres. Currently, dubbing works are on.
Directed by Girish AD, 'Premalu' is a teen romance set in Hyderabad. Co-starring Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, the film also features Sangeet Pratap, Shyam Mohan M, Meenakshi Raveendran, Akhila Bhargavan, Althaf Salim, and Mathew Thomas.
With music done by Vishnu Vijay, its cinematography is by Ajmal Sabu. The film is edited by Akash Joseph Varghese.
