Prabhas' 'Spirit' was announced in October 2021. Produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, the film is yet to go on the floors. In an interview last November, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga talked about the pan-Indian film's shoot plans, revealing that plans were afoot to commence the shoot in September 2024.
In his latest interview, the 'Animal' director revealed something obvious about Prabhas' character. The 'Saaho' actor will be seen as a sincere cop, the filmmaker said.
This is not the first time that Vanga said that Prabhas will be seen as a cop in 'Spirit'. This time, he has added an adjective. It is a foregone conclusion that cop-heroes in our movies are sincere and upright. Since this cop is a Vanga creation, he will probably indulge in romanticized, high-octane violence while being slightly flawed. "The story is ready. I have to delve into the treatment part," Vanga said.
Prabhas was recently seen in Prashanth Neel's 'Salaar', which hit the cinemas on December 22 last year. Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD' will be released in theatres later this year. For Sankranthi, the first look of Prabhas' movie with Maruthi will be unveiled by People Media Factory.
