Makers of Ravi Teja's 'Eagle' are unhappy with broken promise

'Eagle' skipped the Sankranthi release recently after the Film Chamber of Commerce assured it of a solo release on February 9 if it makes way for 'Guntur Kaaram', 'HanuMan', 'Saindhav' and 'Naa Saami Ranga'. However, 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' and 'Yatra 2' are already scheduled to be released on February 9 and 8, respectively. This is hardly the solo release 'Eagle' was promised.

In a letter addressed to the Chamber, People Media Factory described the situation as "unfortunate". It urged the Chamber to keep its publicly-stated promise that 'Eagle' will be afforded a solo release as a favour for vacating the Sankranthi segment.

On Thursday, Sundeep Kishan made it clear that his film, 'OPB', will not be postponed at any cost. Apparently, the makers of 'OPB' were not consulted by the Chamber before the promise made to the makers of 'Eagle'. Today's letter by the makers of Ravi Teja's film comes in the wake of Sundeep Kishan's words at Thursday's promotional event.
