Sapthami Gowda of 'Kantara' fame is in the news because of a controversial reason. The young actress has been accused by a woman named Sridevi Byrappa of running an affair with her husband, Yuva Rajkumar (a Kannada actor). Sridevi and Yuva are an estranged couple and have been seeking a divorce. Yuva and Sapthami were seen together in the recent Kannada movie 'Yuva'.
The allegations have hurt Sapthami, who recently moved a local court in Bengaluru. Following her petition at the court, a restraining order has been passed against Sridevi, who will now have to completely desist from speaking badly about Sapthami. The 'Kantara' actress feels that Sridevi's words have disparaged her fame.
Sapthami is currently doing 'Thammudu' with Nithiin in the lead in Telugu. The 28-year-old actress last year made her Bollywood debut with the Hindi film 'The Vaccine War', in which she played Dr. Sreelakshmy Mohandas. The 'Popcorn Monkey Tiger' (Kannada) actress will be making her Tollywood debut this year with Nithiin's movie.
