As per trade analyst Komal Nahta, the surge is going to be massive as the day passes and the weekend nears. He has taken the example of a town in Rajasthan to make a guess. "In Rajasthan's Tonk, the first show had an occupancy of 77%. Tonk is a ‘D’ class centre. Even a 20% start there would be considered good. There were rounds of applause at twenty-five places in the Angel Multiplex during the first show," he wrote.
It looks like all recently minted theories that 'Kalki' would receive a poor response in Hindi due to lukewarm promotions are getting proven wrong.
