'Gangs Of Godavari', starring Vishwak Sen in the lead, has a new release date. Hours after the election schedule was made official on Saturday by authorities, Sithara Entertainments put out the release date of the film. May 17 is the date.
"Get ready to witness the most rugged and violent tale from the banks of Godavari! (sic)," the makers wrote. The May 17th release is happening four days after the elections conclude in the Telugu States.
The film, written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya, is coming out at a time when Sen's image has been bolstered by 'Gaami'. The 'Falaknuma Das' actor is confident.
"'Gangs Of Godavari' has me in a rural role, while 'Mechanic Rocky' has me in an urban role. I am trying to show variation from film to film. Like 'Gaami', 'GoG' and 'Mechanic Rocky' are going to be game-changing outings. I work hard on every single film that I do. I give my best shot every time. These days, I tend to forget what I have shot once I am done with the shoot," Sen recently said in an interview.
